Local suppliers

The people we’d call.

We hire out the furniture, the candy floss and the picnic setup. We don’t do face painting, and we can’t turn your lounge into a laser-tag arena. When customers ask us who can, these are the local businesses we point them towards.

Nobody pays to be on this page. There are no commissions and no referral fees — just people we’re happy to have our name next to.

  • Brick-building parties

    Brick Antics

Gary turns up with the bricks, runs the whole two hours, and packs it all down again.

    • Two hours of hosted building challenges, not a box of bricks tipped on the table
    • One flat price with no add-ons — his own words are “everything included, no hidden extras”
    • Setup and pack-down are his job, so you aren’t reclaiming your lounge at 5pm

  • Face painting & balloons

    Daizy Design

Christy has been painting faces since 2011, and she is genuinely, unusually quick.

    • Most designs take two to five minutes, so the queue actually moves
    • Cosmetic-grade paints, a fresh sponge per child and brushes sanitised between kids
    • A trained family team, so a bigger party gets more painters at the same standard

  • Mobile laser tag

    GO Tag

Your back lawn, the local park, a bush reserve — Nigel brings the arena to it.

    • Several game formats — capture the flag, control point, free-for-all — not one game on repeat
    • Games are pitched to the ages actually playing, which saves a mixed-age crowd
    • Facilitator, gear, setup and travel all included; you just pick the spot

  • Art parties

    Sam’s Art House

The only one here where you host nothing at all — you turn up to Sam’s studio.

    • Exclusive use of a real studio for two hours — no weather risk, no lounge to reclaim
    • One proper activity from a menu: fairy gardens, dream catchers, upcycled shoes
    • Materials, plates, cups and napkins included — bring the cake and nothing else

These are independent businesses, not part of Playday. Book with them directly — we don’t take bookings or payment on their behalf, and we can’t speak for their availability or terms. The details above come from each business’s own website and can change, so confirm the current ages, times and prices with them. We’ve deliberately left prices off this page — they’re each business’s to set, and to change.
